I became a diabetic at the age of 7. I have had lots of ups and downs in my life, lost my mother to cancer at the age of 23. I wanted to give up then, but I knew I had to keep going. I tried to think positive and that seemed to work for a while, then my eyesight went I lost my eyesight in my left eye and my right eye got better. Then my kidneys went out, talk about feeling real negative at this point, then I was told I might have to have open heart surgery. I didn’t know what to do, so I began to pray about it. Jesus made it better and now my positiveness will go nowhere now. (because of him) Cause I didn’t have to have open heart surgery. My health has been stable for 3 years now. I aim to make it even better. I do exercise at home (what I can) I couldn’t afford to go to a gym. So I wished and prayed for things to get even better. Your grant came about, so Melissa my social worker helped me with the paper work. So I see Jesus has provided for me again. So I am ready to do what ever it takes.
